A shop has been ordered to close after it was caught selling illegal vapes.

A closure notice was served at Sun Market in Attleborough following five visits over a two-year period from Norfolk Trading Standards and Norfolk Constabulary.

During the visits, thousands of illegal vapes and illicit cigarettes were seized from the Exchange Street shop.

The business was also found to be selling vapes to children.

Following a court hearing on Friday, Norwich Magistrates' Court issued a closure notice forcing Sun Market to shut for the next three months.

It comes after Trading Standards officers at Norfolk County Council pledged to crack down on vapes after being alarmed at how many were being sold to under-18s.

It said the use of the items in Norfolk has "exploded" in the last year.
