Mystery surrounds the death of a 49-year-old IT support worker who was found dead at his home.
An inquest into the death of Mark Preston, of Woodside Road, Norwich, was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court on May 16.
The court, based at County Hall, heard that Mr Preston’s body was found at his home earlier this year on the evening of March 4.
A post mortem examination carried out by histopathologist Dr Laszlo Igali could not ascertain a medical cause of death.
A full inquest to determine the official reason behind his death will take place at the court in July.
At the brief opening, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake confirmed that Mr Preston was born on May 31, 1974, in Pembury, Kent.
