A woman whose body was found washed up on a Norfolk beach had drowned, an inquest has heard.
The body of Trudi Goodenough, of Bath Hill Terrace, Great Yarmouth, was discovered on the evening of February 20.
The 46-year-old, who was unemployed, was found on the beach close to the Marine Parade.
An inquest into her death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall in Norwich, on May 16.
It was told the medical cause of death was given as “drowning”.
The court heard that Ms Goodenough had been born in the same seaside town on May 11, 1977.
A full inquest to determine the official cause of death will take place at the court later in the year on October 30.
