Fuel thefts have surged in one area of Norfolk placing motorists on high alert.
Five cars have been targeted in the past fortnight alone and the thieves are believed to have drilled into the fuel tanks of vehicles and stolen the fuel inside.
In Swaffham, there was one incident in Sandringham Way between May 3 and May 5 and another in Botwright Drive overnight on May 11.

Thieves also drilled into cars in Hillside in North Pickenham on April 30, The Green in Gressenhall overnight on May 12 and High House Road in Beetley the same evening.
Breckland isn't the only area seeing a spike with figures from Norfolk Constabulary also showing a surge in fuel thefts in Great Yarmouth - rising 32pc over the past five years.
The recent uptick has prompted a police investigation.
