A tractor carrying organic chicken waste on a 134-mile round-trip was stopped on the A11 in Norfolk after problems were found with its brakes.
Enforcement officers from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency spotted the vehicle travelling on the road on Saturday, April 20.
The tractor was carrying a trailer full of organic chicken waste to the nearest processing facility 134 miles away.
A spokesman for the authority said three of the brakes on the trailer were not working.
The parking brake was also faulty.
