After completing the Bargain Holiday series with fellow comedian Katherine Ryan, Joe Wilkinson revealed Norfolk was his favourite destination.
The first episode of the series, which aired last night on Channel 4, saw the two comedians enjoy an affordable 'romantic' getaway in Norfolk.
In an interview following the series, which included trips to Bulgaria and Montenegro, when asked if Norfolk was his favourite destination Joe Wilkinson said: "I don’t like to have favourites, but yes, yes it was."
"We went to Northern Ireland, Wales and Norfolk – I call them the big three.

"These beautiful places are practically on the doorstep - I hope people do more holidaying at home."
In last night's episode, the pair started their trip with a visit to Norfolk Lavender before spending the night camping in St Michael the Archangel church in Booton.
Joe Wilkinson said: "That was one of my favourite things.
"Camping in a church for next to nothing, please tell me what’s better than that?"
The next day they visited Norwich where they tried an alternative spa experience at the Red Lion Bishopgate with yoga paddleboarding, a sauna, an ice bath and a pint.

The two comedians also enjoyed dinner at Italian restaurant Saporita and their evening entertainment was the free poetry night at the Last Pub Standing.
The next day they visited Fritton Owl Sanctuary where Joe was amazed that he could hold an owl for £3.
"The owls were good," he said.
"We peaked very early with the owls and I like lavender which was also in Norfolk.
"If you put owls and lavender in the same day for me, it’s Christmas Day."
Their evening date was dinner and bowling at The Bowling House on Dereham Road where Katherine Ryan said "these are the best nachos I've seen in the UK."
For some alternative couple therapy they visited the Rage Rooms which Joe quipped was much cheaper than actual therapy.
Their trip was completed aboard the Southern Comfort Mississippi Paddle Boat where they cruised along The Broads.
