Norfolk will be the star of the television screen as the first episode of a comedy travel television programme heads to the county. 

Comedians Joe Wilkinson and Katherine Ryan join forces for Joe & Katherine's Bargain Holidays, showing viewers "how to live the champagne lifestyle on a lemonade budget".

With a theme for each episode, the first will see Joe and Katherine travel to Norfolk for an affordable 'romantic' getaway.

The jam-packed episode will see them visit the Norfolk Lavender fields, go champing (camping in a church), try yoga paddleboarding and visit Fritton Owl Sanctuary among other activities.

The series will then see Joe and Katherine travel further afield visiting Bulgaria, Latvia, Wales, Northern Ireland and Montenegro. 

The episode will air tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm.
