A family business that’s been hand-making garden houses in Norfolk for more than 50 years is heading to the capital to launch its latest showroom.

Crane Garden Buildings, which was founded near Swaffham in 1974, already has 14 locations across the UK, and following its success, has opened its first site in Greater London.

The showroom is set within the Hillier Garden Centre inside the grounds of Syon Park Estate, the west London residence of the Duke of Northumberland.

It will feature examples of the firm’s garden buildings, which are still handcrafted in Norfolk.

Russell Atkinson, CEO at Crane Garden Buildings, said: “Visitors can expect to explore an array of garden buildings, from classic sheds to luxurious garden rooms, all crafted with our signature commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

“This expansion into Greater London signifies an exciting chapter for Crane Garden Buildings, as we continue to bring our expertise and passion for outdoor living to new communities.

“We’re looking forward to inviting visitors to immerse themselves in our collection while enjoying the beauty and amenities the area has to offer."
