A Norfolk council has secured a huge funding boost which will be used to make homes more environmentally friendly.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) has been granted £1.38m to be spent on making its social housing more energy efficient.
More than 173 homes are to benefit from the second wave of cash from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), which follows nearly £1.5m in grants previously.

The money will be used for a variety of changes to homes which include enhancing loft insulation and installing cavity wall insulation, air source heat pumps and solar panels.

Carl Smith, leader of GYBC, said: "This is great news and it follows on from our previous successful bid which will help us increase the energy efficiency of our homes across the borough.
"We have a great track record of securing grants, which is really important and we hope we will continue to do so."
At a meeting this week, cabinet members agreed to accept the funding and begin the process of beginning the work to improve the homes.
