Emergency services were called as a lorry became stuck in deep flood water on a closed road.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 5.15am to reports of a vehicle stuck in the Welney Wash Road.
The most recent measurement from the Welney Flood Alert page of social media indicates that the road was under around 1m of flood water, as of 7am today.
The Welney Wash Road has been closed by the Norfolk County Council since Saturday due to rising flood water.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed that crews from Methwold, Kings Lynn, Outwell and Littleport assisted in rescuing the driver, who does not appear to need further medical attention.
Crews remained at the scene for nearly 90 minutes, only leaving at around 6.40am.
Norfolk County Council has advised drivers to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
