The wife of a “hard-working” father who took his own life following an argument has paid tribute to her husband.
Aaron Goodwin, of Springfield Road in Taverham, near Norwich, was found dead in a garage at his home on June 25, a court has heard.
The body of the 40-year-old builder was discovered by his wife, Sarah Goodwin, at around 8am that day.
An inquest into his death heard that the couple had argued after attending a nearby party the evening before.
Mrs Goodwin went to bed following the argument and when she woke up, could not find her husband.
Mrs Goodwin found the body of her husband at around 8am. He was declared dead by attending paramedics shortly after.
An inquest into his death was held at Norfolk Coroner’s Court on November 22, and was attended by members of Mr Goodwin’s family including his wife, daughters, and father.
Area coroner Samantha Goward read a statement from Mrs Goodwin, who works as an administrator, to the Norwich-based court.
She said: “He was a busy, hard-working self-employed builder for over 20 years.
“He was a kind, caring, loving man who would do anything for anyone.
“He loved his family, and he was very generous. It's been a great loss to many.”

A toxicology report revealed that Mr Goodwin had consumed alcohol consistent with social use before his death, as well as cocaine.
Concluding the evidence, Ms Goward recorded a short narrative conclusion.
She said: “He died as a result of a deliberate hanging, but the intent is not clear as alcohol and drugs may have impaired his judgement.”
