An emergency road closure has been put in place on a bridge which carries heavy goods vehicles due to a serious structural defect.
Norfolk County Council has shut the Stow Causeway Bridge, in Stow Bridge, near Downham Market, following a safety inspection.
Inspectors identified a serious structural defect that was affecting one of the bridge supports.
Options to put in a temporary support are currently being explored.

A county council spokesman said: "This may result in a temporary weight limit being enforced over the bridge, but at this early stage there is no guarantee this temporary fix is achievable.
"So the road may have to stay closed until permanent repairs are carried out."
Diversion routes will be in place while the closure is in force.
