The inquest into the death of a 36-year-old man who was found dead at his home last week has been opened.
Christopher Smith, of Hall Road, Norwich, died inside his home on Friday, July 21.
Speaking to the court, Jacqueline Lake, senior coroner for the county, confirmed that his body had been identified by his father, Colin Smith, to an officer from Norfolk police.

A statement from Mr Smith Snr also confirmed that his son, Christopher Anthony Smith, was born in Norwich on February 4, 1987, and he worked as a carer.
A pathologist gave the medical cause of death as “hanging”.
The inquest was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court at County Hall, Norwich, on Thursday, July 27.
A full inquest for the coroner to determine to official cause of death will take place on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
