An area stretching from a Norwich suburb to the north Norfolk coast could be hit by flooding.
The Environment Agency has issued an alert for areas surrounding the River Bure from Spixworth to the Felggburgh area south of Cromer today (April 24).
People have been urged to avoid low-lying footpaths or entering areas prone to flooding and to "be prepared".
Villages and towns that could be affected include Horsford, Sprowston, Coltishall, Wroxham and East Beckham.
The flood alert follows heavy downpours over the weekend in parts of Norfolk.
