A trip to the seaside could be on the cards for many families this Easter holiday.

And it seems two coastal destinations in Norfolk are among the best for a trip on a budget.

Winterton-on-Sea and Great Yarmouth are one of 10 locations revealed as the top affordable getaways in the country.

Research conducted by holiday company Hoseasons put Winteron second and Yarmouth fourth in the list, which looked at the best staycations that "won't break the bank".

Skegness in Lincolnshire comes out top as the most affordable destination, with Bude in Cornwall and Cheddar in Somerset also featuring.

Paul Evans, vice president for Hoseasons, said: "As the year progresses we're seeing more Norfolk locations make an appearance in our hot spots for 2023. 

"More and more families are wanting to holiday during Easter than ever before compared to pre-pandemic."

The Top 10 list includes the most popular locations for short breaks under £400 per family of four or more based on bookings for a three and four night stay over Easter 2023.
