Asda is recalling some of its Christmas treats over fears packs may contain pieces of plastic.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) confirmed the supermarket is recalling three varieties of its Extra Special Mince Pies - Apple and Pecan Crumble, Indulgent and Crumble Top.
The FSA said the products are a potential risk to consumers as they may contain pieces of plastic making them unsafe to eat.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores which sell the product.
The notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and give advice on what to do if they have bought the mince pies.
Customers who have purchased any of the mince pies should not eat them and return the products to the nearest store for a full refund.
They can call Asda on 0800 952 0101 for more information.
