From West End hit musicals to breathtaking dance, there is something for everyone in the new season at Norwich Theatre Royal.
These are the new shows announced for 2023 and 2024 at the venue.
That’ll Be The Day- February 12 2023
Go on a journey through the years as together you celebrate the golden age of rock and roll and pop from the 50s right the way through to the 80s.
Heathers – June 13 – 17 June 2023
Heathers The Musical, the comedy rock musical based on the eponymous 1988 film, embarks on a new national tour.
Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) – June 19 – 24 2023
Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) is a unique and audacious retelling of Jane Austen’s most iconic love story.
English Youth Ballet: Swan Lake – July 21 – 24 2023
A traditional production but with particular emphasis on the rivalry between the seductive Black Swan dancer - Odile and the vulnerable White Swan dancer - Odette, as they compete for the affections of the Prince.
Greatest Days – August 7 – 12 2023
Relight Your Fire with this sensational new production of Take That’s smash-hit musical Greatest Days, featuring 15 of their songs.
What’s Love Got to Do With It? – October 3 2023
A celebration of the music and 60-year career of incredible rock and soul legend Tina Turner.
Grayson Perry: A Show All About You – November 26 2023
Grayson Perry takes a mischievous look at the nature of identity in a new show that will make you laugh, shudder and reassess who you really are.
Shrek the Musical – March 26 – 30 2024
Join unlikely hero Shrek and his noble steed Donkey as they embark on a big, bright, musical adventure.
Featuring the beloved Princess Fiona, the evil Lord Farquaad, a host of magical fairy-tale characters and fabulous songs, including the smash hit I'm a Believer.
