Chantry Place Norwich, home to brands including Apple, House of Fraser, Langleys, Lush, Rituals and Wagamama, has announced its Christmas plans and opening hours and a host of festive pop-up shops.

The shopping centre is now decked out for Christmas with new lights and selfie spots, including a ‘Twinkling Trio of Trees’ on Chantry Square, plus an eight-metre Christmas tree and a Santa’s sleigh to sit in inside the centre!

Shoppers will now also find the pop-up, Pollyfields, which is outside on Chantry Square until December 27. It offers naturally-inspired luxury, handcrafted garlands, wreaths and decorations.

Inside the centre, The Calendar Club is selling a large range of calendars, diaries, planners and books. From football-themed calendars to adorable puppies, there is something to suit every taste and interest. Find it on the lower ground floor near HMV until January 8, 2023.

Pop-up Sense Aroma is on the lower ground floor until Christmas Eve selling a luxury range of diffusers and fragrance oils, including ultrasonic aroma diffusers and beautiful Himalayan salt lamps.

There are more too, with Chilli Cheese bringing its delicious treats until Christmas Eve and O’Snacks until Christmas Eve too, after proving a hit with shoppers this summer with its delicious range of nuts, snacks and Mediterranean-inspired treats.

Visitors of any age can also pop a wish in the ‘Place Your Wish’ postbox on the upper ground floor near the centre entrance, as Chantry Place grants 12 wishes over the Christmas period. The gifts need to be available in Chantry Place or people can request a donation is made to a charity in their name. The Chantry Place elves will be collecting and choosing the lucky winners, as well as spreading some festive cheer around the centre on select days.

Chantry Place is also working with Alive UK, an emergency response charity aiming to reduce poverty and provide emergency support for people in crisis, with a treats and toys appeal to give local children a gift this Christmas. Donations are on the lower ground floor of the centre.

Visitors will also have even longer to shop as Chantry Place brings back Thursday late night shopping until 8pm throughout November and December, and selected retailers will also be trading until 8pm in December on Fridays and Saturdays (check at chantryplace.co.uk).  

The centre will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on Boxing Day.
