HANNANT DAVID MARTIN Passed away peacefully on the 8th September, aged 79. Beloved Husband of Jenny, cherished Father and adored Grandad. Funeral Service 10:30am, 1st October at Earlham Rd Cemetery Chapel. Flowers to Gordon Barber, Aylsham Rd, by 9:15am 1st of October.

A loyal and generous friend who wore his heart on his shirt. Not one to sit on the fence, David always said what he thought even if his views were unpopular to some. But you always knew where he, and you, stood. An accomplished businessman who built his company from very little with sheer hard work and business acumen. A loving husband, father and grandfather- he was never happier than when surrounded by family, and very proud of their achievements. And last but not least, an accomplished sailor on The Norfolk Broads who was a tough but fair competitor. David- I’ll miss our little chats, often over breakfast, your advice and wisdom will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend.
