CARGILL CHARLES WILLIAM Of Sheringham (formerly Hindringham), died peacefully at home on June 17th, 2023. Much loved husband to Hilary. Funeral and celebration of his life to be held at Cromer Crematorium on Monday, July 3rd at 3 p.m. Colourful outfits welcomed. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, by cheque to the Brain Tumour Charity sent to Blyth & Sons Funeral Directors, 4 Cremer Street, Sheringham, NR26 8DZ.

Fond memories of Charles are ours to keep. My mother Elizabeth Rosa Wright (nee Edmonds) worked for Charles parents in their house when she left school and helped to raise Charles. Mum's now 90 years of age and still refers to Charles as "my dear little boy". She carried him miles on her hip. Later mum, my nan, uncle David and I all worked and played on the farm. My summer school holidays were always spent there and Charles was so kind to me when growing up.
In recent years when Charles and Hilary moved back to Sheringham, my brother David did some decorating for them. So our family has had the honour to know Charles almost all of his life and he's always been very special to us. Condolences to Hilary, with love, from Elizabeth, Jane, David & Jenny Wright.
