Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup addressed the media this lunchtime ahead of the Canaries' clash with Cardiff, and we were at Colney to ask the questions and brought you live updates.

The Canaries boss offered an updated fitness bulletin ahead of the long trip to South Wales this weekend that included the training return for Christian Fassnacht and Tony Springett. None of those currently sidelined are expected to be back. 

Angus Gunn and Marcelino Nunez won't travel to South Wales, but City's boss didn't completely rule them out of all the remaining matches before the November international break. 

Liam Gibbs, Onel Hernandez and Ashley Barnes remain sidelined whilst young defender Brad Hills is being assessed with a back injury that has limited both his senior and under-21 involvement. 

Thorup discuss potential solutions to captain Kenny McLean's suspension after his straight red card in Sunday's 3-3 draw with Middlesbrough as well as reflecting on that chaotic draw at Carrow Road.  

Cardiff have improved significantly under the interim management of Omer Riza, who has won three of his opening six in charge of the improving Bluebirds. 

City are looking to end a run of four draws in their last five matches with victory in the Welsh capital.
