The hotel previously just had treatment rooms, but this summer a state-of-the-art spa opened following a £3.5m investment.

The Thermal Suite boasts a hydrotherapy pool, herbal steam room, experience shower and a foot spa and the Outdoor Oasis area features an aromatic sauna, hot tub and cold shower buckets.

For an additional cost, guests can experience the UK's first Beer Spa with a wooden tub filled with vitamin-rich malt and hops - complete with a beer tap so you can sip while you soak.
