Two new flats could be created above a town centre takeaway.
Developers have applied for planning permission for the two two-bed apartments above Subway, on the High Street in King's Lynn.
A design statement said: "The proposed residential units designed to the current modern living standards and provide positive living environment for its future residents.
"Furthermore, the proposed development provides accommodation for housing need and demand in the area.
"As such it will be of value to the on-going regeneration of this part of the town."
The proposals come as work looks set to start on a major development of flats and bars in the nearby former post office, while a £14m new library and community hub is being built in the former Argos store around the corner.
A decision is expected from West Norfolk Council in early 2025.
