Festival-goers were in high spirits as the campsite opened on Thursday morning in Henham Park.

The Latitude line-up includes music, comedy, theatre and dance, with activities for children and teens and a Street Feast area too. 

The arena at the Suffolk festival opens on Thursday evening, with the main programme getting under way on Friday.

The music headliners on the Obelisk Arena main stage are Kasabian on Friday, London Grammar and Keane on Saturday and Duran Duran on Sunday.

Thousands of people flocked to the site on Thursday to pitch their tents in a prime position.

Ahead of this, the campervan and caravan fields could be accessed from Wednesday afternoon.

The weather is looking good for the weekend, with the temperature peaking in the low 20s.

Light rain is forecast early on Thursday evening but it should be dry for the rest of the festival.
