A woman from Great Yarmouth will appear on a Netlifx dating show in which a group of singles aim to get engaged without seeing the other person.

Mental health nurse Jasmine will star in the new series of Love is Blind: UK as she looks to find a husband and start the next chapter of her life.

She will join a new batch of 30 single men and women hoping to find love for who they are instead of what they look like in the dating experiment which has already filmed series in the USA, Sweden, Japan and Brazil.

Starting on August 7, new episodes of the show will roll out each Wednesday, chronicling the singles’ journeys to love.

Jasmine describes her childhood as a “rollercoaster” due to moving from Great Yarmouth to the Philippines at eight.

The 29-year-old has been single for four years and feels like her dating life has been sidelined due to her “resting bitch face".

She now lives in London and worked as a flight attendant before becoming a nurse.

She thinks she would make a good wife and is looking for a man who can communicate how he feels and speak her love language - words of affirmation.

Famous married couple, Matt and Emma Willis, will oversee the singles from their first days in the pods all the way to the altar.

“I’m intrigued to see people connect on a purely emotional and mental level right off the bat, without visuals playing a part.

"I’ve loved going to work with Matt, and we’re both obsessed with the show, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity.”
