A Norfolk man has been cleared of sexual assault and grievous bodily harm after a seven-day trial.

Joey Baptiste, of Catkin Close in Cringleford, was alleged to have committed sexual assault by penetration of a female over the age of 13 and grievous bodily harm without intent.

The trial against Mr Baptiste, 40, began on Monday, July 15, at Peterborough Crown Court.

After hearing all the evidence, the jury cleared Mr Baptiste of both charges.
