People living near 'Britain's most flooded road' are to face more disruption as the road closes for resurfacing work.

The A1101 Wash Road in Welney is due to close for roadworks next month.

The stretch of road became infamous over the winter period after being submerged underwater for a record 12 weeks with locals sent on a lengthy 22-mile diversion.
