One Norfolk beach has scooped a place on a list ranking the best beaches near London - despite being 140 miles away.
The Times has curated its choice of the 14 best beaches near the big smoke with Cromer making a surprising feature.
Beaches in Kent and Sussex dominate the list with Camber Sands, Brighton and Deal gaining a mention.
The journey takes just under three hours by rail, while the drive takes beachgoers slightly longer at around three and a half hours.

The article mentioned the town's renowned crabbing as a great pastime for when the bucket and spade boredom sets in.
The award-winning "pier of the year" which has become a landmark was also noted as a must-visit stop on any trip.
