A "gentle and loving" greyhound is still searching for his forever home after more than 200 days in care.

Gus has been living at RSPCA Mid Norfolk and North Suffolk after growing up in an unsuitable environment and moving back and forth between homes.

During his time at the branch, Gus has only received one application for adoption, which was unsuitable.

Due to all the moving in his early life, Gus suffers from separation anxiety so he would need an owner that is willing to be patient and work with him.

A spokeswoman for RSPCA Mid Norfolk and North Suffolk said: "He’s learning to control his reactive behaviour we’ve taught him to sit and wait following a distraction technique when he sees a trigger.

Those wanting to give Gus a new home can apply for an adoption form on the RSPCA website.
