A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a traffic warden in a town centre.
Officers were called to Swaffham's Market Place on Friday lunchtime after receiving reports that a civil parking enforcement officer was being assaulted.
A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Police Station for questioning and later released on bail pending further enquiries.
