Three new homes could be built in a leafy suburb of a Norfolk town, where major developments are already under way.
JJ Sandberg Construction hopes to develop land at South Wootton, on the eastern outskirts of King's Lynn.
It has applied for outline permission for three four-bedroom homes on Ryalla Drift, off Nursery Lane.
The site is described as "empty garden land" in the firm's application to West Norfolk Council.
Major developments are already under way in and around the village including 125 properties off Nursery Lane and 450 new homes off Benefer Way.
A new doctor's surgery has also recently opened off Benefer Way, near South Wootton Junior School, to cope with extra demand for medical services caused by population growth.
A decision on the Ryalla Drift proposals is expected later this year.
