Love Island USA's Caine Bacon reveals perfect Norfolk date

Caine Bacon, 28, is a personal trainer and security guard who grew up in Bradwell, near Great Yarmouth, and now lives in Long Stratton.

He was one of the Casa Amor bombshells on series six of Love Island USA, filmed in Fiji and hosted by TV personality Ariana Madix.

He made it to the main villa after contestant Liv chose to couple up with him, but he was dumped from the island a few days later.

We spoke to Caine about his experience and his plans now he is back in Norfolk. 

Why did you decide to take part in Love Island USA? 

I mainly decided to take part for the experience and challenge.

It is something I will certainly remember for life and free flights to the paradise island of Fiji may have helped in the decision!

What was your favourite moment and do you have any regrets?

My favourite moment was probably going out to do the challenges, even if they were disgusting.

My only regret is not really knowing what the show actually was - I could have prepared myself better.

Will you be keeping in touch with anyone?

I have already been talking to the Casa boys and a couple of the girls.

I am planning to link up with Ignacio, whether it be in South America or Europe and we will be making some funny content.

What were the main cultural differences you noticed as a Brit in the villa?

Sometimes the Americans may have taken my sarcasm and dry humour for rudeness.

Would you like to do more TV work in the future?

Yes, anything with a challenge or to get my personality across.

How did you celebrate when you arrived back in Norfolk?

I was going to go out to watch the Euros final but after two days of travel with basically no sleep I fell asleep on the sofa nearly instantly.

What is your perfect date to take someone on in Norfolk? 

My perfect date would be a scenic walk on a lovely day, maybe take a boat out on the Norfolk Broads.
