There are heavy delays on the A11 in west Suffolk after two cars collided.

Emergency services were called to the A11 at the Five Ways roundabout near Mildenhall at about 12.10pm on Friday to reports of a two-vehicle collision.

A spokesman for the police said the road was closed in both directions to allow for recovery.

Police say no serious injuries have been reported. 

Officers are in the process of opening the road, but at 12.35pm a vehicle also broke down on the eastbound carriageway of the A11 nearby, causing further delays.
