A woman has been hit by a car in a street in Costessey.
The incident happened at the junction of Britannia Way and Dereham Road just before 3.30pm.
The air ambulance was called to the scene and the nature of any injuries is currently unknown.
Police have closed a section of Dereham Road from Longwater roundabout to the Roundwell Medical Centre and remain at the scene.
Officers are redirecting traffic away from the affected area and delays are being reported in the area.
