It is set to go under the hammer at the online auction on Thursday, August 15.

Described as a "charming terraced cottage situated between the town centre and common", it is said to be "not to be missed" as it comes up at auction next month.

It is due to be sold on a freehold tenure with a guide price of £230,000 to £250,000 plus fees.

The property description from the auctioneers says it is "a charming terraced cottage in a much sought after location."

It adds: "Situated in the heart of Southwold - between the town centre and common - is this delightful terraced cottage which has been in the same family for decades.

"The property's compact accommodation currently offers two bedrooms but as the bathroom is attached to the far side of the neighbouring property and only accessed externally the purchaser may wish to convert one of them.

"Offering tremendous potential as a holiday let, Airbnb or simply as a forever home we believe this to be an unmissable opportunity which is priced particularly competitively for the auction market."

The auctioneers added: "We understand the neighbour has previously made an offer to buy the bathroom and we will happily pass on the buyer's details should they so wish."
