Bigger and better than ever, and back with a bang!

A popular summer trail is set to make a splash once more as it makes a welcome return to Lowestoft.

The Discover Lowestoft summer trail returns this weekend and will run over the summer holidays.

From this Saturday, July 20 people in Lowestoft will be able to join the search for a series of marine characters that have been hidden around the town.

With a call to all to "embark on an exciting adventure, find characters, and win fantastic prizes" a "summer of exploration and fun" is promised.

The annual summer trail has been organised once more by Lowestoft Vision — the Business Improvement District for the town — and is supported by local businesses.

Along with headline sponsors Richardson’s Family Entertainment Centre and mega sponsors ABP Ports, the trail offers a free, fun and entertaining activity for both visitors and locals throughout the summer as it is run from July 20 to September 2.

Simply collect a map from Lowestoft Library or download it online and use it to find and note the names of the hidden characters.

With the characters being hidden in various participating locations, the more names you collect, the bigger the prizes.
