A yellow heat health alert has been issued for Norfolk as warmer temperatures are set to return.
The alert, which has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency and Met Office, will be in place from 5pm on Thursday until 11pm on Saturday.
With a chance that parts of the county could reach the heatwave threshold of 25C over three consecutive days, the warning highlights the threat of increased deaths among older and vulnerable people.

This includes an "observed increase in mortality across the population likely, particularly in the 65+ age group or those with health conditions, but impacts may also be seen in younger age groups".
According to the Met Office temperatures could reach highs of 30C on Saturday.
The agency has warned of minor impacts to health are probable and there is the risk for increased use of health care services.
