Disruption is expected for drivers due to a four-day road closure for bridge repairs in a city suburb.

Costessey Lane will be closed for repairs at Costessey Mill Bridge from  July 22 to July 25.

The Norfolk County Council work will cost £10,000 and involves relaying coping stones and brickwork repair.

A full road closure is required to maintain a safe working area during the project.

A signed diversion route will be in place with pedestrian access being maintained at all times.

The work is being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
