Emergency services were called to deal with a vulnerable person at a Suffolk rail station at 9pm on Wednesday.
Services at Lowestoft Railway Station were delayed due to trains running at an extremely reduced speed.
They resumed to their usual operation around half an hour later.
Greater Anglia apologised for any inconvenience caused by the disruption.
