Trains are now calling at King's Lynn Railway Station again following disruption earlier today.

Great Northern operates the station and all trains at King's Lynn and it runs a direct return service to London King's Cross.

They were unable to call in the west Norfolk town earlier today due to a shortage of station staff.

Great Northern has now confirmed that this issue has been resolved.

 

 

The operator posted an update on X, formerly Twitter, at 2pm on Sunday. 

It said: "Disruption caused by this incident has now ended. No further trains are being affected by this incident.

"We can now call at King's Lynn and Watlington once more. You will no longer need an alternative route to complete your journey."
