An aerobatic display team is part of the jam-packed programme at a Norfolk event this weekend.
The annual Gala Day takes place at the Thursford Collection, near Fakenham, on Sunday, July 7 2024 from 11am to 5pm.
Its museum houses the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs.

Gala Day celebrates founder G.T. Cushing with exhibitors showcasing mechanical organs, vintage vehicles and steam engines.
One of the major highlights of the day is The Flying Comrades, who are due to perform between 2.30pm and 2.50pm, which is weather dependent.
They are a trio of display pilots who perform the skill of close formation flying and aerobatics.
Formed during lockdown, the team flies a variety of Yakovlev aircraft produced primarily in Romania.

There will also be street food traders, a barbecue, live music and the recently restored showman’s engine Victory will be in steam.
Organist Robert Wolfe will be performing on the mighty Wurlitzer with two special shows.
