Head outdoors over the summer holidays and visit one of these Norfolk maize mazes, including a new addition for 2024.

1. Goat Shed

Where: Colton Road, Honingham, NR9 5DJ

When: Daily from July 20-September 8, 10am-4.30pm

A new maize maze is opening a stone's throw from the newly expanded Goat Shed Farm Shop & Kitchen this summer. 

It will have a goat and cheese theme, with the crop currently 2ft high and expected to grow to more than 6ft in time for the launch.

2. The Wizard Maze & Play

Where: Hall Farm, Metton, NR11 8QU

When: Daily from July 20-September 1, 10am-5pm

Price: Adults: £9, children £10, under 3s: free, people with disabilities and seniors: £8, family and group tickets available, pay on the day

Head to north Norfolk and make your way around this scarecrow-themed maize maze.

A range of activities are included in the price, including jumping pillows, crazy golf and pedal carts, and Noah's Café will provide refreshments.

3. The Pumpkin House

Where: Brookhill Farm, Fakenham Road, Thursford, NR21 0BD

When: Wednesday to Sunday from July 24 and throughout the summer holidays, 10am-4pm

Price: Adults: £6, children (4-16): £4, under 4s: free (maximum of two under 4s free with a paying adult), pay on the day

This popular maize maze returns for its third year and there will also be traditional games, such as welly wanging, and a van serving coffee, cakes and ice creams. 

New for 2024, a nine-hole mini golf course opened at the site earlier this year and combined tickets will be available.

4. Wroxham Barns

Where: Tunstead Road, Hoveton, NR12 8QU

When: Daily from July 20-September 3, 10am-5pm

Price: £16, under 2s: free, pre-book at wroxhambarns.co.uk, £1.50 more on the day

Pay once and play all day with one ticket giving you access to the Junior Farm, Fun Park, daily foam parties and the maize maize. 

In the latter, you can collect stamps on your way around as you try and find your way out.

When: Daily from July 20-September 2, 10am-5pm

In the Summer Mega Maize, you need to find the clues to the quiz and collect stickers to find your way out.

There will be a whole host of other activities at the site, including a barrel train, trampolines and a zip wire.
