A retired bookbinder drowned at his home, a Norwich court has heard.
Arthur Nunn, of Lockhart Road in Ellingham, near Bungay, was found dead inside his house on the afternoon of May 24.
An inquest into the 94-year-old's death was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall, this week.
It heard that his body was identified by his son and that the medical cause of Mr Nunn’s death had been drowning.
Senior coroner, Jacqueline Lake, also confirmed he was born in Lowestoft on January 1, 1930.
A full inquest to determine the official cause of death will take place at the court in November.
