The body of a man has been found in Santon Downham on the Norfolk and Suffolk border.
The body was discovered in the Suffolk village, located near Brandon, by a member of the public at around 5.30pm on Monday, June 17.
While formal identification is yet to take place, the family of 60-year-old John Crook, who was reported missing on Saturday, June 15 in Santon Downham, have been informed.
The death is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
Searches for John Crook were carried out in the forest surrounding Santon Downham and it included the use of drones.
