There are several important public information notices for communities in Norfolk to be aware of this week. 

1. New Betfred betting shop

Betfred is applying for a premises licence under the Gambling Act 2005.

Plans have been submitted by betting giants to take over the former TSB branch in Magdalen Street.

The firm has applied to open the site between 8am and 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 9am until 10pm on Sundays.

Members of the public have until July 4 to comment on the application.

2. Seoul Born 

The Orford Place Korean restaurant has applied for a pavement licence. 

If approved, the licence will see a new outdoor seating area introduced in front of the restaurant consisting of six chairs and three tables.

Members of the public have until June 22 to comment on the application.

3. Claims to the estate of Jessie Bringloe

Anyone having a claim against or an interest in the estate of Jessie May Bringloe of 1 Wherry Reach in Acle, who died on March 24, is asked to send a written notice to the address below on or before August 8. 

After this date, the estate will be distributed as per the notices received.

4. A140 Road Closure 

The A140 Ipswich Road is currently being resurfaced in Newton Flotman from Brick Kiln Lane to Church Road.

The works, carried out by Norfolk County Council, started on Tuesday and are expected to be completed by 6am on June 20.

Traffic light systems and a fully signed diversion route are in place. 

5. Planning application

A planning application has been made to the Broads Authority to change the use of the land between The Firs, Staithe Road, and Benjys House, New Road Track, in West Somerton from agricultural to equestrian.

Members of the public have until June 20 to comment on the application.
