A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near a train station.

The incident happened on Station Approach in Sheringham at 12.55pm today.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the man, who was a pedestrian, was taken to hospital. 

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 12.40pm with reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car on Station Road in Sheringham.

"The pedestrian, an adult man, was transported to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment for a head injury.”
