A seaside town in Norfolk has been named one of the 20 "coolest, prettiest and quirkiest" in the UK.

Hunstanton was included in the list by the Time Out lifestyle magazine.

The guide particularly praised Hunstanton's picturesque views of the "unusual stripy cliffs" and The Wash.

"Visitors to Hunstanton are in the unique position of being in the only spot in east England from where you can see the sun both rise and set," it added.

The article recommended visitors take a stroll along part of the Norfolk Coast Path, which runs from Hunstanton to Sea Palling, and suggested taking part in the self-guided Horticultural Trail.

Further inland, the publication also highlighted several local businesses such as "Britain's largest joke shop", World of Fun, and The Neptune pub.

Hunstanton has received a lot of attention for its beauty, being included in a vast range of "best beach" rankings including the handpicked Condé Nast guide at the end of April.
