A road has been closed near Taverham due to the discovery of a sinkhole.
Drivers noticed that Ringland Road had been shut on Sunday following the discovery of what has been described as a "huge" sinkhole.
Norfolk County Council implemented an emergency road closure at the bridge just outside Ringland and put diversions in place.
A spokesman for the council said: “A hole opened up in the carriageway just before the Ringland Bridge over the weekend.
