A troublesome tree which is damaging delivery vehicles looks set for the chop.
Docking Parish Council has applied to fell the willow, which stands on a drive beside a pond off Stanhoe Road in the village, near Hunstanton.
Its clerk Carla Crawford said in an e-mail to West Norfolk Council's planning department: "There have been several deliveries to the building site at Hazeldene in the last couple of weeks.

"The branches on this tree have been scraping over these vehicles, and without intervention, the whole tree will become an absolute nuisance to delivery vehicles etc."
The tree is located within the Docking Conservation Area. But a planning officer's report says it does not have a protection order.
It adds: "The parishioners have agreed to remove the tree due to its condition and status."
