An older greyhound who is blind in one eye is looking for a quiet and happy home in Norfolk to live out her years.
Birdie is up for adoption with Norfolk Greyhound Rescue who says she is around eight years old and needs a calm atmosphere to spend her retirement.
She is an ex-race dog with a condition called chronic episcleritis which has left her mostly blind in her right eye, but it does not affect her day-to-day.
According to the rescue, Birdie loves her bed and spends most of the day sleeping.
She is very good on the lead but is quite shy and tends to ignore other animals besides other small dogs.

Although she doesn't play fetch and prefers to be swaddled in blankets, she is good with small children and will let anyone pet her.
The rescue added: "She is easily spooked by loud noises and cars passing by.
"She is a shy girl but full of love. It may take a couple of weeks but she will get there."
